{The Konopka Family}

The holidays are such a wonderful time of the year.  If you’re as fortunate as this family, you get to see family from all over the country and spend a few days together!!  Thanksmas sure seems to be a popular trend this year! 😀  You probably recognize Rob & Sharon from their family photos last year.  Andy and I have decided that we want to be friends with them… so watch out, Bradfords 😉

The rest of the family proved to be just as fun as Rob & Sharon (and those adorable kiddos!)  Have I mentioned adorable little Will yet??  He seems to have such a sweet spirit (plus boys his age remind me of my little Eli, so how could I not fall in love?!)  I loved watching the sibling interaction.  I also have two brothers and there is just something special and fun about being the only girl.

Konopka family, it was so fun to be able to meet all of you!  Hope you enjoyed your stay in Kalamazoo and had safe trips home!

Couldn’t help but tack on an extra photo of Rob & Sharon.  These are two amazing people.  They have had such an influence in our lives and we are so thankful for their passion!  Check out their website!  They are doing some great things!!

{The Pursley Family}

A sunny, warm(ish) day half way through November… we sure got lucky!  Miss Claire (Rapunzel’s owner) celebrated her birthday earlier in the day and then decided to spend the evening with me! 🙂  I love seeing parents with as much patience as these two!

Pursley family, it was a pleasure getting to know you.  You have three great kiddos, but I’m sure you didn’t need me to tell you that!!

Thanks for looking!

{The Figel Five}

Meet the Figel Five as Corinna (mom) has lovingly labeled them!  What a wonderful, sweet, fantastic little group I had the pleasure of spending the evening with last night.  Those are three SUPER sweet girls!!  Corinna and I met through MOPS at Lake Center Bible Church in Portage.  It’s a great ministry that gives moms a chance spend a few hours a month enjoying the company of other moms.  If you’re a mom of a preschooler in the greater Kalamazoo area, you should definitely check it out!

Anyway, right after their youngest daughter Jozlin was born, Corinna was diagnosed with Postpartum Cardiomyopathy/Congestive Heart Failure.  She has been battling this disease for the past 10 months.  Without going into too much detail (and getting them wrong!),  I encourage you to follow her journey here.  She is going in for surgery next Thursday (November 17th) which will hopefully be the end of this long journey.  If you think of it, leave her a note of encouragement and more importantly say a prayer for her safety and for quick healing from this procedure!

Corinna and family, I had such a great time with you all last night.  It was so wonderful getting to know you all a little better and finding those fun it’s-a-small-world connections!  We will be praying for all of you in the upcoming weeks!!

{The Mason Family}

Meet the Mason Family.  We were so fortunate to get some of that sweet “summer” light all the way into November!!  Sweet little Adreanna has such a sweet little smile.  I think I appreciate it even more since I had to work so hard for them! 🙂

This little one and her Puffs… match made in heaven!

{The French Family}

Meet the French Family.  Jon & my husband Andy grew up together.  It’s always fun to hear stories of them tooling around on the farm causing trouble.  Looks like Jon & Nicole might be in store for some of that trouble themselves.  Little Blake & Caden are two very active little guys and seem to have a lot of fun!  Blake always has a smile on his face and little Caden definitely know what he wants!

Jon & Nicole, it was fun spending a bit of your Saturday with you!  Thanks for sharing your kiddos with me! 🙂
